The main engine for all versions is obviously UE3 but for Mass Effect 3, they've made huge improvements and stretched the engine's capabilities enabling smoother frame rate, less loading, and better physics, all of which is utilized in the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2.
In short, the improvements you should come to expect from Mass Effect 3 are already in the PS3 version of Mass Effect 2.
Uncharted 3 is the real reason. Every other developer died a little inside when they realized they had to go up against another genre-defining PS3 exclusive. The teaser alone murdered whatever they had planned, so what about the trailer? Expect a breaking story tonight about game developers worldwide committing suicide after the Uncharted 3 reveal.

To be honest I hope they cancel the Uncharted movie. They're gonna ruin it, this I know. Just stick to the games. They're better than any action movie anyway.

Gabe has become somewhat of a PS3 fanboy after being welcomed at Sony's E3 press conference and announcing the definitive Portal 2 experience will be on PS3.

This type of game would have sold much better on PS3. As you can see by Halo Reach and Black Ops sales, two first person shooters released very close to each other but still managing to sell more on 360 than all other platforms, what more proof do you need regarding the fact that 360 users only buy shooters? They don't deserve anything more from Remedy, and even Alan Wake itself was a disappointment after 6 years of hype. Short, cheesy dialogue, not even HD.
So Eurogamer's reviews only count when they're scored 9 or over? Lol them handing out a perfect score doesn't disregard the fact they've always sucked at reviewing *everything* and they still do, even after this review to a game you're obviously looking forward to.

Borderlands is an endless RPG FPS that focused on insanely addictive co-op (or SP) gameplay while Enslaved and the douche bags at Ninja Theory focused on bad graphics, 3 hours of incredibly easy, one button gameplay, and cutscenes.
I'm sorry but Enslaved isn't worth a penny.

This is embarrassing.
After playing the demo, it became obvious that the trailers were just misleading target renders sped up to make the frame rate appear smooth when in reality, it's not even running at 30 on it's lead platform, even lower on 360. God of War 3 achieved massive scale battles at 60 frames per second. A disappointing addition to an amazing franchise. Sad.
You obviously suck at tower defense so I'm not surprised.
